About production
Sea water for the production of LinAqua products is collected in the Bay of Saint-Malo in northern France and delivered undiluted to the modern Solopharm plant in Saint Petersburg.
Numerous species of algae have been found in this bay, which indicates the crystal purity and biological activity of the water.
Due to powerful sea currents and the grand tidal waves, the water here is actively oxygenated, always remains clean, and retains its unique properties. The bay is rightfully considered the most ecologically clean in all of Europe and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- After collection, the sea water undergoes ultrafiltration, which removes large mineral particles and plankton organisms.
- Then the water is poured into combo containers through a special filter and transported to Saint Petersburg.
- Upon arrival at the Solopharm plant, the water from the container is pumped through two filters of 0.6 μm and 0.2 μm. The required amount of water for loading is poured into the reactor.
- The reactor contents are mixed under the influence of an ozone generator to reduce bioload.
- Then the solution passes again through a sterilizing filter with pore size 0.2 μm.
- The filtered solution goes into a filling machine, where the product is dispensed into special bottles using BOV (Bag-on-Valve) technology.
